Use Smart Home Manager to reboot your gateway
Be sure your gateway is on the list of Smart Home
Manager–compatible gateways:

Firstly, visit att.com/smarthomemanager and
select Devices. (On your smartphone? You’ll find it in the main menu.)

Choose Wi-Fi Gateway, then Reboot Wi-Fi
Gateway, and finally reboot.
Reboot your gateway or modem manually

Firstly, unplug the power wire from the rear of
your gateway or modem. If you have:

An internal battery backup so removes it.
·
DSL service, also disconnect your telephone wire
from your modem or gateway.

Wait 20 seconds.
3.
Then put the internal battery again, if
applicable.
4.
Plug the power cord once more. If you have DSL
service, also reconnect the telephone cord.
5.
Wait up to 10 min or the gateway or modem to
reboot and your Broadband light to blink green.
Using your U-verse remote control:

Press Menu.
·
Select Help > Information > Troubleshoot
& Resolve > TV > DVR.
·
Follow the onscreen prompts.
Many receiver issues can be fixed by restarting your
receiver. To do this, press and hold the Power button for at least 10 seconds.
This takes 5 to 8 minutes and can impact any DVR recordings in progress. If you
have got several receivers, reboot your wireless gateway by unplugging it from

If you’re having a particular issue due to at&t outage map and restarting the receiver
doesn’t fix it, try the following tips.
The receiver turns off (standby mode)
After 8 hours of inactivity, your receiver automatically
goes to standby mode. This option is in place to conserve energy. To stop your
receiver from going to standby, just press a key like OK, Guide, or Options on
your U-verse remote to restart the 8-hour cycle.
Connection error on TV or receiver and Wireless Access
Point (WAP) not pairing
Your receiver may be too far away from your WAP. Move your
wireless receiver closer to the WAP, and then pair them by pressing the WPS
button on your WAP and the OK button on your wireless receiver. Pairing takes
about 2 minutes. If pairing is successful, the Link light on your wireless
receiver should turn green.
Reset Wi-Fi gateway back to original settings
Be sure to make note of any custom settings, like your static IP address if you have one, or your Wi-Fi
network name (SSID). You can also reapply them after the factory reset.

Press and hold the Reset button on the gateway
minimum10 seconds. If you let go before 10 seconds, the gateway will reboot,
but it won’t reset.
·
Wait until the gateway restarts and every status
lights are lit.
·
At last, if the Broadband or Service status
lights are solid green.The reset succeeded.
