What happens if you dont return Spectrum equipment?

In order to market the company's consumer and commercial cable television, internet, phone, and wireless services, Charter Communications uses the trademark Spectrum and offer many packages under Spectrum bill pay plans. Charter Spectrum now offers broadband Internet services throughout its entire service region after acquiring TWC and Bright House Networks in a recent merger. In addition, the company retains ownership of all equipment issued by it for use with any of its Spectrum TV or Spectrum Internet services. Your responsibility for returning any leased Spectrum equipment is if you're planning to discontinue or downgrade any Spectrum services and lead to Spectrum outage.

Different method to Return Spectrum Equipment

1.       To get a UPS refund

Any UPS Store is a convenient location for returning Spectrum products. You can use the UPS Store Locator tool to find a store near you. Please click on the link to discover the nearest UPS Store in your area. The UPS Store will take care of the packaging and shipment back to us at no cost to you, courtesy of UPS. It's as simple as bringing your equipment and telling UPS that you're a Spectrum client and they'll take care of the rest. Be sure to keep your receipts for tracking purposes.

2.     Using FedEx Return

Certain Spectrum equipment can be returned by FedEx if there is no UPS Store or Spectrum store in your area. Assemble your cardboard mailing box and apply the return label if you received one with your Spectrum equipment. Any outdated shipping labels should be removed or covered before the box is sealed. Any FedEx Office can accept your package. The following items are eligible for FedEx return: DVR and HDTV receivers DOCSIS, Modem/router combos with Wi-Fi gateways 2.0, Modems with 3.0 technology, DSL modems with DOCSIS 3.0 gateways, Routers with built-in Wi-Fi and Voice modems from Spectrum.

Equipment Fees that are not returned

Unreturned equipment fees may be applied to your account if you fail to return all rented or leased equipment to Spectrum after cancelling or downgrading your service plan. You will be charged a fee that will be added to your account balance. Disability-related equipment pick-up is another option that Spectrum offers to its consumers. Contact spectrum live chat for additional information or to request a pick-up of your equipment.

Returning the Spectrum equipment is as simple as bringing it to any US Postal Service office and having it scanned for return. Pack the equipment in the shipping box so that it is protected. In step three, place the pre-paid return label on top of the actual shipping label. Use the U.S. Postal Service Locator tool to find the nearest post office to your home or office and avoid Spectrum activate.
